We rented the Kuku Camper B for our Icelandic honeymoon road trip and had the best time exploring Iceland !

Me and my son really enjoyed our 14-days Iceland trip along circle street with Kukus campervan. I liked the van very much. It was nice to drive, comfortable and had everything that was needed. The service was very nice and personally and the small office made us feel comfortable and welcome. We really had a great time in Iceland and would recommend Kuku to anybody who'd like to travel around Iceland. Thank you Pilar for your nice introduction to our van. It was a really nice and sympathic contact!

Rented a campervan 4x4 for 12 days to do the ring road with kuku campers. Smooth booking, always available, and straightforward to communicate. Check-in and drop-off without problems (shuttle to the airport included). The campervan is well equipped to provide enough comfort for a long bumpy road trip. Great assistance over the travel with some issues regarding the campervan, and everything was resolved. Recommend booking in advance with most of the extras (wifi, power inverter, usb charger, blankets,...) and with the top insurance regarding gravel and all the hard roads you can find in Iceland.

I had a very positive experience with Kuku Campers. From the reservation process, to vehilce pick-up, and to vehicle return, I found the staff to be helpful, informative, friendly, and responsive to unexpected changes and request. The vehicle was as promised making our first trip to Iceland and the whole expericence just absolutely AMAZING. I would use them again for a next trip. I hope I have a return trip there very soon!

Awesome service: before your trip, all important things to be considered are mentioned. You can also get the extras before your trip: e.g. a SIM Card with mobile data, which is also helpful when you want to stay longer in Iceland and get in touch with locals, as well.
I can recommend the collision damage insurance and the gravel insurance! E.g. between Reykjavik and Akureyri there are a lot of trucks smashing water and gravel against your wind shield. In addition, it's hard to avoid gravel roads in Iceland ;)
The concept with the camper vans is awesome: You can sleep inside them which makes you more flexible while exploring Iceland (e.g. along the Ring Road). They are well equipped with pots, knives, forks and spoons fix and so that you can cook. If you got some leftovers you can share your food after your trip at the Kuku Campers Office.
In general, I recommend booking at least three months in advance before your Iceland Trip.

This was my second time using KuKu campers, and I couldn’t recommend it enough! We used the AA van with a heater and it was PERFECT! The lovely staff picked us up from the airport and brought us to their van pick up location! The staff were so friendly and fun / informative! We chose to drive the ring road , and our camper did not disappoint! On our last night we ended up camping right at the KuKu camper location as we were dropping off our van early in the morning ! Just to show an example of the amazing staff, two gentleman came out of the building later in the night to greet us. They were enjoying a staff party and even offered us a couple beers to enjoy ! If you’re considering booking with KuKu campers this is you’re sign to DO IT!

We had a great 14 day round trip in Iceland and being home again, we miss our van. Kukuvans are much nicer than others, because most of them are recognizable from their graffitis. We had the Elsa Van (From Frozen) and on every campground we looked for familiar other vans.
The van itself was a Renault Master with Automatik. It was easy to drive and a really good and reliable car.
What else? We only had nice contacts at the Office (thanks, Pilar and Katarina)!

From the service before we arrived, answering questions super fast and giving great advise, to pick up and drop off, the staff here make the experience of going to Iceland all the better!! Would highly recommend to anyone!
