We used the Duster to travel the Ring Road. For two small ladies, the car was perfect. We had no limitations!

There are quite a few companies to rent campervans in Iceland.
I did quite a lot of research prior booking and im so happy with my choice. I actually booked Kuku using Northbound website but it doesnt matter.
Kuku are cool with great character :P Some companies require you to deposit enormous security deposits but Kuku won't do anything like this.
No hidden BS, no surprises. They are very cool and easygoing team.
No pressure selling you extra ensurances etc (Although, i'd recommend getting at least Gravel protection due to some gravel roads that you will drive ocasionally).
I've had such an amazing experience renting with them. Northbound organized pickup from the airport with a person waiting for us with a poster with names and drove me to Kuku's office. Very cool !
Rental procedure was easy and smooth and the team is nice and helpful. Campers are great and have that wicked graphics on their vans. Camper was in great condition and included basic stuff you'd need for the road.

We loved our 5-person camper van! Ours had the cat painting on it. The dining area easily turned into a bed. We put two adults on the bottom and two adults up in the top bunk for sleeping. The KuKu staff was great and very helpful. The check-in office also has a bunch of "freebies" left over from previous campers. We snagged some pasta and coffee to get us going on our trip. They also give you a little booklet of coupons for N1 petrol stations which we used and loved. I highly recommend KuKu campers!

Best services ever! Friendly stuff, gave us many tips and information for our 6 day travel across South Iceland with a 5 seat campervan! Perfect vehicle, organized facilities, flexible and easygoing communication. I will definitely rent Kuku again to my return in Iceland!

Best way to get around Iceland. Rented a van with two others and drove up and down the southern coast. Vans are clean, comfortable, and affordable. Staff are increadible! If we ever do another trip to Iceland we will definitely go with KuKu campers again.

Just finished a 5-day trip driving ring road and could not recommend KuKu Campers enough!
We initially chose to rent our camper (4x4 Suzuki Jimmy) because it was the cheapest option we could find amongst all camper van rental companies. Having now just dropped off our car we are pleased to have given our business to KuKu due to the culture and spirit of the company.
Our first interaction was with Agi, who shuttled us from the airport to KuKu headquarters. She was super pleasant, and despite only living in Iceland for a short period of time, she was very knowledgeable about roads, weather conditions, tolls, and campsite information (basically any insider information you require to drive ring road), and provided us invaluable guidance for our journey around Iceland!

Kuku Campers van was amazing. We are probably going to purchase our own now. If you’ve never experienced van life, this is the best place to rent from. Magnus is a great guy and treats you fairly.
